Report: Contactless market to grow 2010-2014

ABI Research has released a report predicting substantial growth for the global contactless payments market, according to squidcard.com.

The U.S.-based independent research firm expects point of sale contactless payment applications to grow 19% annually through to 2014.


ABI also predicts that over the next few years, RFID-enabled ticketing and cargo tracking will outpace more traditional markets for the technology, and that the market as a whole will earn more than $8.25 billion in 2014.
