Switzerland’s LEGIC has announced two new partnerships that will bring the company’s contactless smart card technology to China.

Radio Frequency Systems, a manufacturer of contactless smart card technology, will use the LEGIC advant 4000 chip generation to create new reader modules for access control applications.

Hong Kong-based BQ Smart System is also working with LEGIC to expands its product portfolio of electronic locking systems. From now on, BQ’s contactless locks for office, hotel and home installations will come equipped with LEGIC’s advant technology.

LEGIC further builds its presence in China

LEGIC Identsystems Ltd. is continuing to expand its partner network in China collaborating on new installation ranging parking solutions, access control, and personal identification.

Shenzhen Chuangtong Intelligence Equipment, a Chinese company focusing on the manufacturing of contactless parking solutions and integrated identification systems, will leverage LEGIC based products for access control installations, especially for car parks.

LEGIC Identsystems has announced the development of LEGIC MMT, an offering designed to provide its customers with a new level of security and convenience for NXP Mifare-based environments.

LEGIC expands to Spain with new partner Softmachine

LEGIC Identsystems Ltd expanded its partner network in Southern Europe with the announcement of a joint venture with Spain-based security company Softmachine Systems.

The new affiliation aims to produce contactless access control solutions and installations for multifunctional visitor management including applications for electronic payment and time and attendance.

China's new e-passport improves safety for citizens traveling abroad

The Ministry of Public Security in China announced the country will start to issue a new type of passport bearing an electronic chip containing the holder’s personal information, according to the China Daily.
