Datacard to debut card-to-envelope solution at CARTES

Monday, November 14, 2011

Datacard Group, a provider of ID and card personalization solutions, will be showcasing its MX6000 card issuance system at CARTES & IDentification 2011 in Paris. The MX6000, which can print up to 1,500 cards per hour, features retransfer color printing and dual-interface smart card personalization modules along with an envelope insertion system.

Visitors to the Datacard booth will be able to see demonstrations of this card-to-envelope solution, which delivers full-color cards and personalized carriers on-demand, starting from white card stock and blank paper.

Features include personalization of contact, contactless and dual-interface smart cards, as well as printing edge-to-edge.

Seamless integration with the MXD card delivery system enables card issuers to also customize marketing or other messages, such as card activation steps or expanded terms and conditions.

The ability to go from bulk pre-printed paper to customized forms reduces the need for financial card issuers to manage a large supply of pre-printed forms. [end]
