ATS launches new time & attendance terminal with contactless reader

Thursday, January 13, 2011

Accu-Time Systems (ATS) has announced the release of its new PAYmate contactless time and attendance tracking terminal.

According to ATS, the terminal is a small, straightforward device featuring an integrated MiFare contactless smart card reader, XML, HTTP, and DHCP network connectivity and power-over-Ethernet.

Ruggedly built, the terminal is IP54 compliant, which ensures that water and dust do not enter the case. An elastomeric cover, designed by ATS, shields the Ethernet port from exposure.

ATS also designed PAYmate with an exclusive angled mounting wedge that allows the device to be mounted directly to a single-gang US or UK electrical box or, by swiveling the mount, can be set on a desk or work counter and angled toward the user. [end]
