DCS releases CardWizard5.2 instant card issuance software

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS) announced the release of its latest software application for card issuance, CardWizard 5.2.

CardWizard 5.2 enables financial institutions to issue magstripe, contact, contactless and EMV payment cards in the branch or back office, allowing customers to instantly receive new cards at account openings, or get replacement cards in case of loss or theft.

According to DCS, the new software lets financial institutions eliminate third party card issuance costs, while delivering fully personalized and unembossed payment cards.

Ron Zanotti, senior VP of DCS, says CardWizard 5.2 contains approximately 35 new capabilities and/or enhancements, including additional multiple language support for Spanish and Portuguese, new support for servers and platforms, expanded chip programming capabilities and improved user interface and reporting functions.

Additionally, CardWizard is Windows-based and can adapt to a variety of interfaces, allowing it to be combined with an array of existing card issuance machines and PIN pad devices. [end]
