ASK launches new handheld reader

ASK has announced the release of its new HCR318 handheld reader for transport, reload POS, ticketing and events applications.

The lightweight and ergonomically designed HCR318 supports various communications via GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth and CDMA USB devices.


The reader also features 3 SAM slots and a memory size of 32 MB SRAM and 32 MB Flash, as well as an 128 x 64 pixel backlit LCD screen.

ASK says it can also customize the reader with the client’s own logo and colors. [end] 

Verayo, a security and authentication solutions provider has launched the newest product in its family of unclonable integrated circuits: the Vera M1HW.

Verayo’s unclonable technology takes advantage of the unavoidable, unpredictable and random variations in the IC fabrication process to uniquely characterize each chip. The variations cannot be controlled, modeled or replicated, effectively rendering each physically unclonable - enhancing security and reducing counterfeiting concerns.

China’s GYRFID has announced the release of its new ISO14443A Mifare 1K/ Mifare 4K/ Mifare Ultralight multi-function contactless card.

The 13.56Mhz, 512bit contactless card is suitable for public transportation, payment systems, logistics, e-ticketing and more, according to GYRFID, and measures 86mm by 54mm, with a thickness of 0.84mm.
