Maharashtra to introduce smart cards for land records

The government of Maharashtra, India is planning to introduce smart cards for keeping land records, according to dnaindia.com.

The new program is designed to help the state overcome problems of manipulations, duplications, faking and forgery of original records, says state revenue minister Narayan Rane.
