GWU goes for Gold in campus card revision

CBORD was recently chosen by George Washington University to replace its existing campus card system.

The university elected to go with the CS Gold campus card solution from CBORD to manage card-based purchasing, privileges, access control, vending and more for more than 20,000 students.


They will be utilizing iCLASS secure contactless cards and readers for access control, as well as MICRO point-of-sale terminals for dining operations. [end]

The Mountaineer Card, the official campus card for West Virginia University, is an essential part of student life, according to The Daily Athenaeum, the university’s official student newspaper.
