Contactless payments coming to UK pubs

Compufix custumers are expected to start using contactless mobile handheld payment terminal in UK pubs later this month, according to a report in the Morning Advertiser. Compufix provides services to Orchid Group, Fullers, Barracuda and JW Lees.

Pub patrons will be able to make purchase of $16 and less by just tapping the card without entering a PIN.
