Banks can keep customers, make money with mobile

Supporting NFC-enabled phones could be the next competitive advantage for banks according to new research from Yankee Group. Banks should also look at using mobile phones as a revenue generator, according to the new article in Ad Age. They’re on the right track with contactless payments, which will prime consumers to wave instead of swipe, when making payments. The research also shows that NFC should reach critical mass by 2013.
