Wednesday, October 1, 2008

Gemalto announced that its advanced card personalization center located in Barueri, São Paulo has been awarded ISO 9001 certification.

Gemalto adds this qualification to existing certifications from Visa and MasterCard.

The globally recognized ISO 9001 certification details stringent requirements for the implementation of quality management and effective formal processes that result in producing quality products and services that fulfill customers’ expectations.

This certification is of major importance to Gemalto’s banking customers in Brazil, because it means that the center’s processes and quality management systems are operating in a manner that is consistent with world-class quality standards. [end]
