Precision Dynamics, FreedomPay announce cashless RFID partnership

Thursday, September 4, 2008

FreedomPay, a payment management company, will begin powering stored value accounts on Precision Dynamics’ RFID-enabled wristbands now used in water parks and resorts for automated admissions, guest identification, cashless point-of-sale, keyless entry and other applications.

FreedomPay’s proprietary cashless solution enables owners to offer their guests the option of paying without cash. That also means quicker lines, streamlined reconciliations and closeouts and reduced cash handling.

“PDC is happy to be partnering with such a highly-regarded company in the payments management industry,” says Doug Bourque, market manager, leisure and entertainment for PDC. “Being able to provide owners with a more secure, turnkey economical cashless solution from FreedomPay, coupled with PDC’s cutting-edge Smart Band RFID system, will help owners build positive relationships with their guests that will translate into recurring business and greatly benefit their bottom line.”

“As a leader in RFID wristband solutions, PDC is a natural partner for FreedomPay,” says Sam Bellamy, COO of FreedomPay. “PDC’s wristband technology combined with FreedomPay’s payments expertise is a great synergy in which our clients and their customers truly win.” [end]
