Epson brings high security to workgroup printers
Epson released a new printer that’s based on ENSP technology, EpsonNet Service Platform.
A benefit to this printer is the inclusion of a contactless card reader. The EpsonNet Authentication solution prevents sensitive documents from piling up on devices when people forget to collect them. With this system documents are kept in a server, the same way they would be with any network print queue, except the Epson system holds them on there until a user causes the job to be printed by authenticating via a contactless smart card. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/contactlessnews-4.gif)
