Arthur Blank & Co.'s Tennessee facility receives MasterCard, VISA certification

Arthur Blank & Co., part of the American Banknote Group, has received MasterCard and VISA certifications for its 50,000 square foot production facility in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. The newly-certified operation, with an annual production capacity of more than 100 million cards, will now add secure bank cards to its roster of pre-paid, private label and gift cards. The new facility will also manufacture secure contactless payment cards.


Boston, Mass.–Arthur Blank & Co., part of the American Banknote Group, is aggressively expanding into the secure bank card market in the U.S. with the recent MasterCard and VISA certifications of its 50,000 square foot production facility in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

Internationally, American Banknote is one of the leading global providers of MasterCard, VISA and other secure credit cards. This newly-certified Tennessee facility joins card production facilities worldwide including France, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and the Czech Republic, with an annual manufacturing capacity of more than 2 billion plastic cards for payment, pre-paid, gift, marketing and chip-based card products.
