ePassport hacker Grunwald presents his latest exploits at DefCon

The guy who made headlines last year reporting at the BlackHat Conference that he had hacked the German ePassport is at it again. Lukas Grunwald will present at DefCon this week that he has succeeded in “cloning a passport chip, then modifying the JPEG2000 image file containing the passport photo. Reading the modified image crashed the readers, which suggests they could be vulnerable to a code-injection exploit…” Read the article online at www.wired.com [end]
