Largest U.S. Plastic Card Manufacturer Adds RFID Capabilities

Dallas, TX – Arthur Blank & Co., Inc., the leaders in card marketing solutions for the loyalty, gift, identification, membership, access, and security markets, announced the addition of RFID to their card production line, at RFID World in Dallas, Texas.

“Increasing our production capacity to 1.3 billion cards per year, we’ve made a significant investment in our Massachusetts production facility to maximize production as well as accommodate new technologies, such as RFID,” said Eric Blank, executive vice-president, Arthur Blank & Co, Inc. “Our full range of high quality six-color presses, advanced production processes, and high-speed laminators are available to any RFID card order and application.”

During RFID World, Arthur Blank & Company, along with Integrated Business Systems and Services, Inc. (IBSS), demonstrated how RFID expands card marketing programs, through their interactive RFID Café. This card and platform demonstration showed the benefits of integrating RFID technology with loyalty card programs through self-service kiosks and retail POS systems.

Other innovative point-of-service applications for RFID cards include:

  • Enhanced security and tracking for access control, identification and employee safety;
  • “Line busting” loyalty card programs for fast food or other drive-up settings where customers’ orders or preferences can speed service;
  • Customer service programs where stored information is automatically accessed to provide improved service.

Arthur Blank & Co. also offers the industry’s first inventory tracking and numeric integrity process, called ScanGuardTM. This process ensures that each card produced carries a unique identifier, guaranteeing all cards are in proper numeric sequence and eliminating duplicate cards factors critical for stored value cards.

The company is exhibiting at Booth #620 at RFID World, and for further information about Arthur Blank & Co. and its full line of card marketing solutions, visit www.arthurblank.com, or call (800) 776-7333.
